Fighting For Fallen Police Man In Ballwin

On July 8th, 2016 around 11:00 am, a St. Louis police officer was shot from behind after stopping a man for speeding in Ballwin, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down – what the police department call a "catastrophic damage to his spinal cord."

The officer who dedicatedly served the Ballwin community is now in Intensive Care at the hospital and will require extensive long-term assistance. He is able to answer yes or no questions by nodding his head and attempts to mouth words when communicating, which is hampered by his ventilation.
